The Front Yard Project
“The front yard project” is located on the Gold Coast highway in Miami. A client gave us the opportunity to be involved with this project, her first ever opening of a combined hair salon, coffee shop and art gallery. The client asked for a tropical beach theme that would look inviting to anyone walking or driving past. To achieve this, we constructed a white picket fence with an arbour as the main entrance, a paved pathway to the front door plus a variety of pots, both on the ground and hanging off the front deck.
We used a selection of tropical and native plants including xanthorea, trachelospermum jasminoides, cordylines, strelitzia nicolai and renigae. We also planted trachelospermum jasmineoides, alcantarea , tiger grass, crassula ovata and society garlic.
